Fed: Job Network services for remote Aust announced

CANBERRA, April 3 AAP - Job Network services will be provided in remote parts of Australia
under new contracts announced today.

The services and their operating sites were in addition to the Job Network 2 contracts
finalised last month, Employment Services Minister Tony Abbott said.

The contracts would fill service gaps for job seekers and employers in the Torres Strait;
the Northern Territory, including Tennant Creek, Katherine, Alice Springs; and far western
New South Wales.

"We have moved quickly, through the fee-for-service tender, to ensure access to Job
Network services for job seekers in these areas," Mr Abbott said in a statement.
