Lindsay Horwitz started playing baseball when she was 4.
"My brother played, and that got me wanting to play," says thenow-15-year-old Gurnee girl. "I wanted to be like him."
A natural athlete with a fierce competitive streak, Horwitz soonfound baseball was more than a chance to emulate her brother. Sheliked the game and was good at it.
