WA: Drowned toddler left house while Dad showered
Police say a Perth toddler who drowned in a lake just a hundred metres from his home
.. had walked out an unlocked back door while his father was in the shower.
The 20-month-old boy's family raised the alarm about 6.30 (WDT) last night when they
discovered he was missing from their Beechboro home in Perth's eastern suburbs.
Two police dog handlers found the boy's body in a nearby lake three hours later.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances .. but a post mortem examination will
be carried out to establish the cause of death.
